In need of a few and saw they're all sold out ATM and eBay prices are of course jacked up.
 
What was the difference between the "a" and "b" versions? I'm running an "a" at present.

They're out of stock on the AU store as well and I want to get 1, possibly 2 :(

They've been out of stock for a few weeks so hopefully not too far away. Chinese New Year may would hold things up though.
 
@undamned I'm not sure.

@xodaraP I've only ordered from them once before, so I wasn't sure if they restock regularly, or they're like once a year, or what.
 
I assume the CPS3 works fine on the 5.1 board - the v6 doesn't seem worth the increased price to me, unless there's a reason I should be going for the v6?
 
I have absolutely no idea, I'm using them on x68000's. Ha.

And sticking with the 5.1 because I have one and know it works.
 
All I know is the 5.1 board does not play well with power supplies that have a 3.3v rail. Every cabinet I tried it on that had this, it would fail to boot. So as long as you aint using one of those, 5.1 should work just fine.
 
One of my cabs has a 3.3v rail, the other doesn't.

I do have a CD drive though so I can use that if I put it into that cab. The SCSI2SD is more if I'm using it on a Supergun it's a hell of a lot less of a pain to move it around
