    MVS MV1B/1C battery replacement

Update, after a 24-hour charge on a brand new LiR2032 it was able to hold the bios settings 2 hours after powering off. Today, after 18 hours being powered off, the bios settings reset again. I have another brand new LiR 2032 that I charged in the console for about 9 hours and removed and have...

    MVS MV1B/1C battery replacement

Thanks for the tip. I left my console on for over 24-hours to hopefully charge a new LiR2032. I just turned my console off, any idea how long the battery can be expected to keep the save data intact before the console needs to be powered on again for recharge?

    MVS MV1B/1C battery replacement

A friend of mine gave me one of these recently, any recommendations for coin cell to use? Not sure if the ML2032 or LiR2032 is better or if brand makes a difference. Thanks.

Final Vendetta: AES & MVS Version available for Pre-Order

Yeah, the Neo version has problems. I bought the Genesis version shortly after it came out and had an absolute blast. Even with the fewer frames of animation it seems like the definitive way to play it, particularly with a SNES-style controller:

The Definitive Guide to the System 16 Multi Kit

After getting this set up and and testing all games I’ve discovered that System 16 had quite a few games with unconventional controls. 1) Have any of the trackball/analog games been modded for 8-way stick support? 2) If so, is there a roll-up pack with these substituted? 3) I read somewhere...

    MV1B battery replacement

Hey, all. I have an MV1B that won’t save bios settings. I’m wondering anyone can link me to a battery replacement for it. Would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Final Vendetta: AES & MVS Version available for Pre-Order

Will the rom be loadable on a flash cart? Game seems like it’s way larger in size than Xeno Crisis. If I had more money to throw around I would go all in on an MVS complete edition, massive fan of Bitmap Bureau. Xeno Crisis was an absolutely stellar game.

DARKSOFT New Namco System 1 Multi Instructions

Right on, thanks for the explanation. I also discovered Bravoman was the same but the hacked controls on the rom allow the 2nd stick inputs to complete the controls. Didn’t realize Namco had unorthodox controls for any of their System 1 games. Bummer. Also, thanks so much for posting the link...

DARKSOFT New Namco System 1 Multi Instructions

I can’t seem to get Face Off controls to work. Any help? In the test menu the start button for P1 and P2 moves the cursor and no other controls for either player work. Because of this I also can’t flip the screen in the options.

DARKSOFT New Namco System 1 Multi

I’m sorry I didn’t see the part that confirmed 64 slots available, but I was sorta figuring that was the case given the 2^6 combinations of the switch bank. Just wanted to be sure. The “24 games” part was to confirm the size of the Namco System 1 library.

DARKSOFT New Namco System 1 Multi

Thank you, Darksoft. I apologize for a follow-up question which I should have clarified sooner. Can all 24 Namco System 1 games (is this number correct?) be selectable from the dip switch bank at once? Or can only a portion of the library be loaded to the system and selectable?

DARKSOFT New Namco System 1 Multi

Copied this word for word from other the thread: So once this is programmed it’s merely dipswitches to change the game correct? Also, I notice a reverse tate orientation in part of the demo, are there dip switch settings to reverse that on the System 1 board itself or do some games require a...

    Hiiiii, everybody!

This is pretty long overdue, but glad to finally be here. Got my first arcade cabinet in 2005 and started on forums in 2008. Same NOAH from other arcade forums, but I’ve been pretty inactive in recent years for the most part due to school and now the house-savings hustle. Thanks to Mitsurugi for...
