WTB Seibu SPI motherboard, JP region

That's true, but I have only Fighters Jet and Viper. =/

WTB Seibu SPI motherboard, JP region

Had it confirmed this morning that my SPI board is beyond repair, so I'm looking for another. I don't need games for it, but I would consider RF, RF2 or Mezase Senkyuoh. Would like it shipped to Australia, for reasons I probably don't need to explain. ;)

    Seimitsu SE (P=40) replica

I picked up an LS-55 recently, but it came with their MS plate, which didn't fit my panel. So I whipped up a copy of their SE plate, which does. This will support any of their smaller 40mm sticks (Which is just about everything but the LS-32, LS-40 and Nobi sticks). It's plenty strong enough...

FS (AUS) - Cyberlead 1 Parts

Ooh, parts! Is your panel 1P or 2P? I wouldn't mind a 1P panel for mine. As for the sides, mine has a small hole in each side, cracked but whole might be better? I'd like to know more. The only other part I'm looking for is a marquee in better shape than mine, with the multitude of dim LEDs.

    Easy JAMMA Connector Repair

Oof. You never really expect that to happen with 5V but a good reminder of the hazards. Sounds like you were lucky the board didn't suffer a magic smoke release incident.

    Easy JAMMA Connector Repair

Through sheer ham-handed clumsiness I snapped one of the cables off the JAMMA adaptor cable for my Cyber Lead. Luckily all the pins are installed, and five aren't used. They can easily be removed and re-used. Simply press the central tongue with a tiny screwdriver or whatever, and push it out...

    Building a Sega double-sided key

If anyone wants to try and duplicate their own key, here's the dimensions as I understand them. The inner circle diameter is always 1mm. I made the slope of the pits 60 degrees.

    Building a Sega double-sided key

My Naomi Universal cab came with only one key, and that sort of bothered me. If I lose it, I'm drilling out the four existing locks, and I'd rather not. They key it came with was a NEOS K0001, which is a very similar key to the Sega 55xx series keys. Double sided, 9 holes per side. It's...

    Keychains for Cabs

After getting my keys mixed up for the 40th time, I figured I needed a keychain for my SNK Candy cab. It turned out so good I whipped one up for every cab in the house. Kinda wish I had more than three colours of filament... ;)

    Bambu Lab boiz

I sure wish there was an easy way to use the AMS on the A1, or seal up the AMS Lite, 'cause having four rolls exposed to the elements makes me itch.

    Virtua Fighter 2 Instruction Card

Someone some other place was having trouble finding a VF2 instruction card, and asked about a scan of the Virtua Stick Pro card. So I scanned it. It's a 12MB PNG file, ~7500x1000 pixels. https://nfgworld.com/files/VF2-InstructionCard.png

    Seimitsu's Alutimo Buttons - a Review

I recently had a chance to play with Seimitsu's new Cherry MX-usin' Alutimo buttons, and I did some swappin' and wrote a review. Short version: they're absolutely amazing. Swapping switches, tho, is fraught. Long version. (there's not really a place for this to go, so it's here. The photo...

    Custom CP Overlay Showcase

I've been iterating on the panel designs for a while and I've done a couple I kinda like. First, the frosty version, and then the one I like most of all the ones I've done so far. It was hard to find colours that really popped, but also didn't suck. I'm super happy with these green...

Cyber Lead Pinouts and Part Numbers Updated

That seems to ring a bell, yeah. All the manufacturers did that at one point, I think. Geez if it's not used for anything I might as well cut it in half and wire up my kick harness with it. But I just ordered eighty bucks worth of parts to build one from scratch. =/

Cyber Lead Pinouts and Part Numbers Updated

I think it was more general purpose. I don't know of many six button Namco games off the top of my head. Soul Calibur and Tekken were four button games...

Cyber Lead Pinouts and Part Numbers Updated

Yes, that's the place you want to plug it in. BUT! I don't know the pinout of that connector. It would be weird in nine ways if it was the same as the JAMMA/JVS board. I can't find the details on the website you linked. Did it come with a manual? Kind of irrelevant honestly - you'll need...

Cyber Lead Pinouts and Part Numbers Updated

The 10 pin connector you've connected your kick output to is for the VIDEO MINI board. It's not connected to anything in my cab, just a spare cable. https://wiki.arcadeotaku.com/images/6/68/Namco_jvs-jamma.pdf ^ this shows the wiring for the JAMMA/JVS board. It might help clarify this in...

Cyber Lead Pinouts and Part Numbers Updated

That's wrong. The JVS I/O board runs all panel signals to the JAMMA adaptor board. The kick harness plug you're using connects to the JAMMA board, it doesn't go back up to the panel bay. You're treating it as an input. It's an output.
