That’s good info to have! Do you have a Sega trackball with worn rollers also? After cleaning and oiling the bearings, mine don’t seem to pinch anymore (not sure why), but it’s probably only a matter of time before the rollers will need to be permanently replaced.

I have some Sega trackballs that pinch pretty bad due to worn rollers; looks like Happ 2 1/4 track ball parts aren't the same size. Aside from buying more Sega trackballs and hoping I get one in good condition, are there no other options?

Seems the circuit isn't the issue (well, other than that the RGB lines did not need attenuation). It works fine with a GBS-Control, just not with the TINK 5x. I wonder if the TINK has trouble detecting med res signals.

I made a sort of high-pass filter, attenuating the lines with resistors and isolating the signals with capacitors, but now I'm not getting any video. I tested the video going VGA straight to my PC CRT with no problem, so I wonder if I've botched this attenuation circuit?

I'd like to run a Sega Model 3 (SWT) to a Retrotink5x (to my Sony plasma display). RBGS video is coming from CN6. Other than attenuating the sync with a 470ohm resistor (the cable I'm using has no attenuating components built in), is there anything else I should be aware of before testing this...

I didn't know this existed, that's plenty helpful, thank you! The ROM set I've seen for SWT have files that start with either epr and mpr. Just from context, I'm guessing epr belongs to the Digital Sound Board 2 and the file extension is equivalent to the IC location on the PCB? So epr-21384.2...

So it seems really strange to me that I get zero signal at pin 7 of the ER5911. I started poking around where it was going at 10C (pin 5) and found pin 1 there was disconnected from pin 1 of 9C, so there was no SEL signal. I fixed this, there was corrosion on the trace, but sadly nothing...
