I want to connect a Bluetooth device to the I/O board of my Namco 256 arcade machine. How do I do this? My io control board model is: Namco V329 NA-JV I/O.

Thank you very much for your recommendation. They have already shipped it to me.
I see i wrote « with just that » but you do need a rasberry pi to put on the rasberry hat! Just to be clear!

Let us know how it works for you!

I have a Raspberry Pi 3B. Can it work properly when used with OPEN JVS?

I have received this device, how do I use it now? @Mrhide
My wireless device is the original PS5 controller

Start with:
https://github.com/OpenJVS/OpenJVS/blob/master/docs/hat-quickstart.md

And
https://github.com/OpenJVS/OpenJVS/blob/master/docs/OpenJVS_IO_Manual_1.2.pdf

Let us know if you have more questions

ps: Note that support for it is already integrated in @chunksin excellent wipi image. I suggest you try that first.
Remember : connect the hat to your pi, connect your JVS device (and only that!) (ie your namco 256) to the HAT square "usb tube B" connector.
then your USB joystick or you can pair bluetooth devices.

FINE! I've actually tried it for you :D

You would go to setup menu:

IMG_2078.jpg

Hold the 2 buttons below for ~6 seconds to put the dual sense in discovery mode
dualsense-1.jpg

hit scan on the netbooter and it should see it. Hit PAIR DEVICE with it selected:

then you'll need to configure/assign keys in here
IMG_2087.jpg

IMG_2084.PNG

once done, go OpenJVS Control
IMG_2083.jpg

to assign a "type" of mapping for the game you want to launch.

and you should be going!

What I have now is a Raspberry Pi 3b and a 2x6 multi-dongle. The image inside is namco2x6_raspbian.img. This image does not contain the OpenJVS Bluetooth function, right?

I don't know about that image, sorry.

No - that is Blade Zx's image for the Namco 2x6 that works by programming the multi-dongle. It does NOT have OpenJVS on the image.

I need an img Raspberry Pi image that includes the OPENJVS setup function, because I think the other tutorial is a bit difficult for me

If you have the drive simulator is has the game images as well I'm guessing?

Do you have the IDE drive simulator ? if you don't, you can have 2 micro sd cards and boot each images ?
I have installed the 8GB img Raspberry Pi image. This is my first time using openjvs. How do I connect my Raspberry Pi and openjvs?
The equipment I have now is:
1.PS5 original wireless controller
2.Namco System 256 Arcade: Tekken 5 dr
3.OpenJVS
4. Raspberry Pi 4
The openjvs jumper has been completed as required

RPi Hotspot is: WiPi-Netbooter
Hotspot password is: segarocks
I saw it already。

To open the browser I should type: netbooter.local
Thank you everyone. I have entered this menu. The OpenJVS menu does not appear because I am not sure how to connect the wires, because I am afraid that the wrong wires will burn OpenJVS.

You need to go to menu->options and enable openjvs

You are going to have to plug things in eventually - we can't do that for you! :)

The hat plugs into the Raspberry pi - and you the right usb cable to go from the hat to the Naomi. Your IO board isn't used at all - since you are using the raspberry pi with openjvs to emulate it.

Your guidance is very efficient. I should be almost started. Are my connections correct?

No - the USB port on the hat goes directly to the Namco 246.

And the hat sits on top of the raspberry pi - it connects to the GPIO header.
