Thinking of putting together a 3 game set of these early in the new year once I have cleaned out a few projects. To make it economical I would need to order at least 10 of each pcb and more likely 20. Typically the cost difference between 3 and 20 pcbs is not much. Is anyone else still...

Anyone here know what typically breaks on a netdimm? Just spoke to a friend in Japan who said he has a non working netdimm I can have. Interested if this is just another time muncher that will just sit on my desk or if they are typically an easy fix.

I was just starting to wonder if I was going to have to remove the bios again. From what I had read it sounded like you needed to upgrade consecutively via Ethernet from 3.17 to 4.02. I just started to think that this was silly and surely I could have just put 4.02 on it to begin with. Oh well...

Off the top of my head I can't remember if they are 1206 or 0805 in size. 1206 are 3.2x1.6mm while 0805 are 2x1.25mm so you can measure them. I thought they were 0805 but I could be wrong.

CPS2 with multi draws about 2.9A on the 5v rail and 0.5A on the 12v while playing the hungriest games (SFA3). ~35w. Seems strange. There are plenty hungrier boards than a CPS2 with multi.

My guess would be either a problem with the rigid connector at the top of the multi (the one with the arrow telling you which way it goes) or a problem with your B board, But check out the thread @djsheep suggests.
