Hi everyone. I got a mod bios EPROM from fleabay (incl. the original bios). I threw the mod bios on the socket, bridged jp1, removed any cf card and fired up the cab. I don't get greeted by any update screen. I just see four vertical color bars and that's it. Any hints on what I am doing wrong? If I start the cab without an eprom installed on the mainboard and have jumper 1 bridged I get an error message (bluescreen) - so the flashing mode triggers. Attached some photos:

Looks like they burned it to a C160, which if done right, might work. I think I have done it myself, by doubling the ROM file, But really, it's supposed to be on a 27C800. So, it is most likely the rom I would guess.
It is the cab.

Glad it worked. Looks like you're pulling the upper address line high or low which is perfect to stop that pin from floating and force it to act like a c800. Good job.
