Some days ago I bought a minty Amiga 600 (could not resist it)

I could not resist to upgrade it as well, that's my plan:

Recap A600 are known to use weak caps, so it's a must-have mod (there are many tutorials for that on internet)
PSU the A600 is the weakest of all Amiga PSUs and one of the worst ever used by Commodore, I could probably use my A500 PSU, but I decided to try something new: https://www.c64psu.com/c64psu/56-174-commodore-amiga-a500-a500-a600-a1200-psu.html
BIOS Kickstart 3.1 https://www.vesalia.de/e_kickstart[8910].htm
RAM 1MB Extra Chip-Ram https://sordan.ie/product/527/amiga-600-1mb-extra-chip-ram-memory-extension/
Storage angled ide adapter + IDE SD adapter https://sordan.ie/product/508/angle-ide-44-pin-adapter--40-pin-for-cd-rom--ide-sd-adapter/
Accelerator I decided for the A600 to go the original Motorola route (instead of the FPGA Vampires). I went with the Furia CPU Motorola MC68ec020/25 (OC33) MHz + FPU Motorola MC68882/40 MHz + 9.5 M of fast memory https://lotharek.pl/productdetail.php?id=105
VGA adapter https://www.ebay.de/itm/New-AMiVGA-...e=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649
RGB Scart https://www.ebay.de/itm/Amiga-RGB-S...e=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649
PCMCIA PCMCIA to CF card for external storage
Mouse I'm now using an old compatible Amiga Mouse, I plan to upgrade it to something else

Installing the hardware is the easiest part, just be careful with the two little tabs at the side of the cage (don't break them)

Here is the recap done, the Furia is installed, the IDE2SD card, the new Kickstart ROM and the Memory Extension

Sneak Preview outputting to a BVM Monitor (Software setup will follow....)

50% faster than a A3000 is not a bad thing...

Very nice! Now you just need to replace that Floppy Disk Drive for a Gotek and you're good in the 21st century
