What I need to complete Virtua Fighter 1

In my experience, the I/O and the sound boards have always been working - it's the main board that is a bit of a gamble. You can get the game to boot with just a main board and an IO board - if you don't connect the I/O board it will just display a blue screen. The main board and I/O just need...

Sega Model 1 Blue Screen Help

You need to have a properly connected working IO board or you get the blue screen - maybe double check all of the connections from the main board and power to the IO board?

    Sega Model 1 help

Here's mine inside a Mini Cute with the Nanao monitor that can handle medium resolution - we also added a 4PDT switch on the frame to select between 15 and 24khz - I believe it's not safe to switch whilst it's powered on - so beware if you try the same mod. We still need to tidy up some of the...

    Sega Model 1 help

You'll need to hook up 5V & GND to the main board (lots of connections to spread the load of all that current) Note - for the 5V & GND to the main board - you'll want to take directly from the PSU and not from the JAMMA edge - it's too much current for that contact size apparently, it'll work...

WTB AWSD, E3, E2 casters, glass instruction bracket holder, AWSD Coin Sticker, ETC

I ordered them through Zenmarket - you have to be very careful when ordering because they might show a picture of something and then in the text say 'not this one' or 'different wheel type'. Plus prices can vary massively. Using the model numbers from the website I attached is the most reliable...

WTB AWSD, E3, E2 casters, glass instruction bracket holder, AWSD Coin Sticker, ETC

Hammer casters are what I believe are used for most candy cabs. E2 & 3 use 2 x 320E-N (Nylon) 50mm (swivel) 2 x 320SR-N (Nylon) 50mm (fixed) You should double check the bolt pattern on their website before ordering

    Chihiro and LI-ion Battery

If you do it right, you can power the Net DIMM from a power supply when there is power and then from the battery if you lose power. We have our cabinets powered from a Z-wave power switch, so we power the Net DIMM separately from the cabinet. Using something like this...

    Kavas' Sega Aero City Restoration

For crimping smaller stuff like JST - I use one of these https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B078WPT5M1/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Be aware that different connectors require different gauge wire to correctly crimp For thicker wire, you might need to use the official tool...

    Kavas' Sega Aero City Restoration

I think PSU connectors are 455-1186-ND and 455-3992-ND Pins are 455-1133-1-ND or 455-1319-1-ND depending on the wire gauge I'm not 100% certain on the leg levelers - I'm going from the Aero Table but most parts are compatible with the Aero City and they also use that size leg levelers on the...

    Rad Mobile conversion

I don't think that Rad Mobile is encrypted - the boards that are encrypted have that big squarish battery backed chip on the ROM board. I'm not sure but I think the general rule of thumb is that if they have a dedicated cabinet with special controls, it's not so important to encrypt them...

    Sega Model 2 / 3 hacked romsets?

@Arcade game & I only wired up the digital buttons and the lamps to the 50 pin connector (CN1) on the I/O GND, 5V, Test & Service are consistent across all Model 1 the others move around mysteriously I think the analog inputs are just 0-5V and connect to other pins on the I/O, which should...
