Ive seen some of those mechs on ebay, but the prices seem to be about twice what i paid for my whole cab :D But the most probable thing is that someone just swapped the wheel on mine then. Ill live with this for now and hope that a cheap mech turns up at some point!

Its a Jambo upright cab. Thats from the CTHR service manual.

Follow up question, what exactly would be the aftermarket replacement parts? As far as i can tell the mech is the same as in the CTHR upright, but the shaft and handle collar isnt. Was the shaft something that would frequently break/get disformed?

Interesting thread! I have the same setup except mine came with a drilled to hell original sega wheel to fit on the "handle collar"(?). So what was the conclusion, that some Jambo cabs came with this mech? Im just trying to figure out how much of my wheel setup isnt original.

You need a zerokey for wipi-netbooter roms afaik, and you need a chihiro zerokey specificly.

Slight necrobump here, sorry. @d7onr8 do you have any documentation or description of how to do this xbox interface? I have a 128mb ram xbox, so this feels like it would be a very cheap way to play Outrun 2 on my Jambo cab. :)

Recalibrating the accel and break according to http://www.crazytaxi.net/miscinfo.html#gaspedalmaximum and cleaning/greasing the gears in the accel pedal mech made it quite a bit easier to dash.

But the flutter persists even when i disconnect the wheel and pedals. So it cant be the pots?

I noticed that it was near impossible to do crazy dash in Crazy Taxi so i tried to calibrate the wheel and pedals and i noticed there was a flutter on the second digit (and some on the first) of the value on all three controls. Otherwise the controls work just fine, so in most games its not an...

Hmm. Ok thanks. Something is definitely off though, since i can see the "waveyness" associated with bad linearity in any scrolling game.

Its pretty clear i think, like a cross in the middle, and also the left and right edges being squashed. *edit* realise now that the hsize is too wide, but when i corrected it all it did was make it even more obvious. :)

Yea i have that, and the settings only affect horizontal(i think?) linearity and not very well either as far as i could see :) Either there is some pot or something on the boards (i sure cant find any) or its just some cap giving up. But the latter would imply that these monitors always have...

So the pureflat in my nnc has some pretty bad linearity issues both V and H and i cant find a setting for it? Theres the SC and CC settings in the advanced menu, but that only affects H linearity and doesnt really help with "wobblyness". Are there other ways to adjust this or is this cause by...

Gigawing Generations and Shikigami No Shiro III are vertical, but i think they are always vertical?

So i added a config.ini file in e:\typexmulti and put "vertical=1" in it but raiden iv still starts up horizontal. What am i doing wrong?
