    SNES to Neo-Geo controller adapters

I built a couple of these and just tested today. They are great for my arcade bench testing. Wanted to say thanks. I actually bricked the first atmega I had in place as the wrong fuses got written and I don't have the patience to do the steps to unbrick the chip so i just put on a new one...

Minigun Supergun - An Open Source Supergun

actually, i take that back. I just tested and believe this is a crossover cable so the pinout swaps if attempting to use as an extension cable which is not what I need unfortunately.

Minigun Supergun - An Open Source Supergun

I have actually used this cable https://www.amazon.com/Monoprice-6ft-MDIN8-Cable-Imagewriter/dp/B003KPYULC/ref=sr_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=monoprice+mdin+8&qid=1591243373&sr=8-3 it works fine for me. In one use, I cut off one end and used the bare wires. In another case which I will be posting...

Minigun Supergun - An Open Source Supergun

For what it’s worth I just had to resolver my blue pot one of mine as I was getting what you were -all yellow. Somehow it came loose - I must have done a poor initial solder job. Just reflowed the pins and it was fine after. Not sure if this is your same issue but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    Kavas' Sega Aero City Restoration

I'm in need of the control panel bezel and the inner panel itself as I have a custom jobby there now. The only other piece I would like is the front chrome strip by the footrest as mine has holes in it, but that isn't a big deal.

Minigun Supergun - An Open Source Supergun

No I was getting at the fact I just split off what was coming out of the supergun to connect to the arcade monitors RGB and sync pins. Know this isn’t what you were asking but, to what someone said I think you could adapt even if not built into the gun itself.

Minigun Supergun - An Open Source Supergun

I have mine hooked up to an arcade monitor and it works fine. I basically plugged in the 8pin to the supergun and cut the other side off. Have the RGB and ground cables in a molex that goes into the monitor. I pulled the sync straight off the Jamma pin on the supergun and ran that to the...

    Kavas' Sega Aero City Restoration

I’ve used JB weld to restore coin doors. It works great. Those two holes on front of CP are for headphone jack I believe. They show in the manual. Would not sandblast foot rest. Use never dull on the chrome. (I plan to do that to mine)

    Kavas' Sega Aero City Restoration

I’m not sure if this was said and is general knowledge but test your PSU voltages before you plug in a pcb.

I think subconsciously I'm just looking for a reason to upgrade to the latest version..

Minigun Supergun - An Open Source Supergun

I have a stupid question. I’m putting together a custom fight stick and I accidentally shorted +5v to GND through wires to/from the P1 dB15 connector (pin8 to pin 1) which resulted in the pcb emitting a good amount of smoke along the trace back to the power connector. The board is still...

Minigun Supergun - An Open Source Supergun

Thanks for the tip. Adding a jumper from P to sync yields a good picture. I wonder if there is a way for me to add a 5 pin RGBGS header pin to the layout as an arcade monitor is possibly a common setup for jamma test benches.

Minigun Supergun - An Open Source Supergun

I tested my build tonight and have good results, but seem to have 1 problem. I may have an issue with the C-Sync. I can't adjust my monitor to stop rolling like crazy. I toned out from pin 14 to the nearest resistor, so I think the TH chip is in there ok. (I actually toned out all the pins...

Minigun Supergun - An Open Source Supergun

I just assembled mine last night. Excited to try it out but I do have one question I can’t seem to find any information on. What is connector CN5 for? Kick harness? I plan to hook this up to a spare arcade crt for now and figuring out the best way to do this.
