The Definitive Guide to CPS2 Conversions

Hi. Anything for making work the famous 64mbits PCBs for MVS and SEGA Model on CPS2/ZN2 games? https://github.com/tdaede/toshiba-64mbit-adapter The final pinout is not exactly the same, as the A21 signal is in different place it seems In the before mentioned systems, the pin 11 CE signal...

    Darksoft Neo Multi Help thread

Tested with Shock Troopers original unit. In one of my MVS motherboards, the game didn't sound on attract mode and when entering the points screen, it threw exception. Cleaning the backup ram on MVS test mode did the work. It seems this game is a little sensitive to backup ram info.

    Cyvern Conversion

You need at least a game with ROM-2-BOARD. Gals Panic S is good enough. A 3.3V regulator and a total of 6 flash roms 29L3211

Taito F3 ENSONIQ correct voltage calibration

Not at all. You don't have to socket anything. Only you have to measure voltage when powered up between pins 2 and 47, and with the pot near the jamma adjust it. Your board is a White cartridge one, so has ESPR6 ENSONIQ and tantalum capacitor. It's normal

    Cyvern Conversion

If not documented, in all the cartridges revisions there are 2 internal rams (D431000AGW): Thanks to a broken ROM-2-BOARD, I have checked what is the purpose of those rams. When loading a game, there are 2 graphic phases: - Phase 1: Kaneko bios screens pre-game ("Super Kaneko Nova System...

Repairing Taito F3 "color bleeding” problem from Factory

Thanks to @Nebula for this tutorial. I have checked and this mod is only for Rayforce/Gunlock. Light Bringer has the "bad components" distribution. I have made a conversion with a orange board and that game doesn't make any color bleeding like Rayforce/Gunlock. In resume: Super Cup Finals...

Modify Gamecube mainboard to work as a Triforce one?

As fas as I know, the IPL inside Triforce makes the motherboard to search for the BIOS and load system on the upper board. If this is the only difference between Gamecube and Triforce, a code/component swap should be possible.

Modify Gamecube mainboard to work as a Triforce one?

I have read about the IPL. Can it be transferred from a broken Triforce one?

Modify Gamecube mainboard to work as a Triforce one?

Hi. I'm going to enter in this system, and I want to know if, taking a Triforce broken system, I can use a gamecube mainboard to resurrect it. Is it really possible? And if it is, what is needed to be done and what revision I must search?

    Namco System 12 64mbit sop44 mask reading

Hi. I'm trying to repair a Fighting Layer original board, and I suspect one of the main data mask roms is broken. So I want to know what is the model of the memory for reading it, and if broken, what replacement to search.
