CPS2 Suddenly Has Graphical Glitches (Moved & Solved)

Like I said above, I determined the issue was in the multi and moved the thread to the appropriate place (https://www.arcade-projects.com/thr...o-fixing-your-cps2-multi-kit.7442/post-387478) . I fixed it by replacing the faulty buffer.

Can you fine folks help me out with this? I'm not sure what to even ask for this, but I'd like to see it into the hands of someone that will use it! Thanks!

DARKSOFT The Definitive Guide to Fixing Your CPS2 Multi Kit

Oh I've done it successfully, I just don't like it. lol These boards at least don't have a bunch of electrolytics to heat up and pop anyway, and if I'm removing chips that are malfunctioning anyway no risk overheating them and killing them.... But yeah, I still don't like hot air. I got both of...

DARKSOFT The Definitive Guide to Fixing Your CPS2 Multi Kit

Thanks for the idea! I tried that again and no change... But then I maybe made a breakthrough. Found that with one of the buffer chips (circled in red), if I pressed on it, the glitches shifted... So, I swapped it for another neighboring buffer chip (circled in yellow). Not easy working those...

DARKSOFT The Definitive Guide to Fixing Your CPS2 Multi Kit

I reflowed them and it changed. Not fixed, but better. So I think you're spot on. Any good ideas on narrowing down which buffer failed? Swapping 1 seems tricky. Swapping 14 seems daunting.

CPS2 Suddenly Has Graphical Glitches (Moved & Solved)

Determined the issue is the multi, not either of my CPS2 boards. Moved the issue here: https://www.arcade-projects.com/threads/the-definitive-guide-to-fixing-your-cps2-multi-kit.7442/post-387478

DARKSOFT The Definitive Guide to Fixing Your CPS2 Multi Kit

This is a redo from this post. My darksoft modded cps2 just started having graphical issues a couple weeks ago (attached below). I've been running it without issue for years... Until a July 9th! I confirmed today that the issue is the multi. I borrowed a working A+B board (complete with his own...

CPS2 Suddenly Has Graphical Glitches (Moved & Solved)

I wish I did... I've been asking around my local (east bay area) circles to see if someone would lend me a set to help narrow down my problems, but as of yet, no luck... 😔

Only Left RCA Jack outputs audio

I piggybacked this thread: can't get stereo sound from RCA sockets--SOLVED (post 8) But I thought I'd also post a fresh one since it was old and since maybe my problem is slightly different. I have seen through searching around that many have had this problem, but generally booting with...

I have this same problem, except when I try the fix (that I've seen posted many places) I still only get audio from one side (left).

    Arcade-Projects Jamma extension cables

Was setting up a potential order of these Gerber on PCBway, and I got an email with this message: "Thank you so much for order on pcbway.com. Noticed you need golden finger and beveling. But, the minimum size for beveling is 45mm. Please kindly note. Thanks." Anybody else have issues getting...

Good quality Jamma extension cables ?

Are the gerbers linked above the most current version now? Also, there are suggested parts in the main post for most of this, but what about the jamma edge connector? Is there one folks recommend? And/Or, is there someone with one built or in production that's going to be selling these?
