Can rule the bios out, I am not sure why the other x3 can't read the hd but I downgraded the bios to the same as yours and still nothing. Guns work in test mode, nesica card reader works, ive swapped guns, swapped gun boards, swapped fast i/o, took apart the 2d sensors and reconnected them all...

I also installed a multi in it to test and change the bios, some of the controls on the guns work on the multi, but all the others are disabled.

hmmm... I've swapped both gun boards already and the fast i/o and still had the issue. The bios in the new x3 I have is v1.0b16, wonder if that is why it might not be reading the hd?

Picked up another Taito x3 to test it but it may have a different bios since it’s not reading the hd now. Can you check your bios rev so I can see if we are matching?

Gotcha would I be able to flash the bios? Since the usb ports don’t seem to be working on the x3 anyway else I can check the bios?

I think the usb ports on my tx3 died so I purchased another 1 and was able to get into the bios however the hd and dongle that I stuck in there for a gs3 keeps showing that there is no OS. When I plug it back into the original the game comes up just fine. Is there something I’m missing in the...

Did you get yours to work? I’m thinking it might be a bad usb connector as I can’t get into the bios with a keyboard?

The game was working for me until 1 day the 2D sensor error popped up. Still attempting to find a fix.

Unfortunately I still haven’t I have changed the fast I/o boards, gun boards, usb cables, sensors, and still every time I boot up the game wants to play but stops on that error message before playing the intro video.

Did you ever confirm what the 2d sensor cpu board error is?

Hello! I am currently scratching my head at to what part this error message is coming from. Any ideas? Everything was working fine until the game reset and now pulls error number 10000004, 2d gun sensor error. I have unplugged and replugged everything back in, all serial cables are connected...
